With this adapter the flange focal distance of Omegon-veTEC-kameras is reduced from 17.5mm to 12.5mm. When delivered, the cameras have a T2 internal thread, but the adapter has a T2 external thread. This means: In order to use the additional 5mm more back focus, the accessories in front of the camera should have a T2 internal thread. This is often the case with filter wheels or filter drawers.
A connection to M48 is possible, for example, with the Omegon Adapterring M48-T2 0mm.
The adapter also fits cameras compatible to the ToupTek ATR3 series. The camera should have 4 Allen screws around the connection thread. This housing shape is used from around 2023. The details are explained well in the following YouTube video.
