Using this set, your child can make interesting discoveries! The set includes a microscope with an experimenter set and a refracting telescope. The instruments have high-quality lenses, are robustly designed and intuitive to use.
The Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 telescope is a refracting telescope, in which lenses collect and focus the light. Its 50mm objective lens facilitates both astronomical and terrestrial observations.
The telescope comes with two eyepieces. Using the H12.5mm eyepiece (50x), astronomical objects such as the Moon and the planets in our solar system can be observed. The 18mm erecting eyepiece (35x) produces direct (neither upside down nor mirrored) images of observed objects and is, therefore, especially well-suited to terrestrial observations. The erecting lens can also be used as a pocket microscope with 14x magnification.
The telescope is installed on an alt-azimuthal mount so that the lens tube can be moved horizontally and vertically. A compact tabletop tripod serves as a sturdy and reliable mount for the instrument.
The Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 microscope is designed for studying transparent samples using transmitted light. It comes with three objective lenses with 75x, 300x and 900x magnification. The practical nosepiece allows the magnification to be quickly changed.
At the start of an observation, a sample is placed on the microscope's stage above the mirror. If the mirror is not bright enough, the integrated light source can be used.
The microscope comes with everything you need to use it, an extensive set of ready-to-use sample holders and instruments for preparing your own slides.
