SCAM4K camera series
The SCAM4K series cameras are the next-generation live-view imaging-system with 4K resolution (video) at 30 FPS. They feature a Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with high sensitivity, low dark current and no smear, achieved through the use of R, G and B primary colour mosaic filters.
A standard c-mount interface ensures maximum compatibility with various microscope systems. The cameras can be used as a stand-alone system without a PC in conjunction with an HDMI monitor or TV or the data can be streamed live to a PC via WiFi (Wlan)/ USB 3.0 for image and video recording. Hardware functions for 3D denoising, sharpness and tone mapping control significantly improve the picture and video quality.
The included Windows software offers image development and measurement tools as well as advanced compositing features such as image stitching and advanced depth of field. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspections.
For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software that can capture video and still images and includes limited editing functions.
The SCAM4K series cameras are designed for capturing digital images from stereo microscopes, biological microscopes or for interactive online teaching.
All cameras in the series come with the advanced video and image processing application ToupView/ToupLite. This is compatible with Windows/Linux/macOS/Android (Native C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, Twain, etc).
